Hello there, nice to meet you. I am Jannik.

I moved to Cologne to study sports and that is how I primarily fill my time. When I am not at Uni I am on the Green playing Volleyball, chatting and enjoying the company of my peers or working as a fitness trainer.

I am quite busy during the week so I can only host on weekends. Please read the section about sleeping arrangements.

I am a travel enthusiast who loves to meet new people and to spend time listening to your stories.
Previous experiences made me appreciate the little things in life. I enjoy a productive lifestyle meaning that I don't like to spend my time complaining about what I don't have. I am an easy guy to talk to and have learnt that the easiest way to meet people and feel a country is to blend out what you see on your phone and hear on television or radio stations.
The best experiences happen when you ask a stranger for a ride and end up being invited to a dinner with people from the Asian Development Bank and the Nepali government.(true story)

I recently enjoyed the movie Shutter Island and Inception.

My favourite books definitely are "The Why Are You Here Cafe" by John Strelecky and "Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman.

I can teach you many things about nutrition, working out and body awareness, since that is the main thing I do in my free time. I also study sports science so I like to think that I know some things about this subject. If you want I can teach you how to do a free standing handstand.
