Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like getting in touch with locals to really experience life and not just superficial tourist things. Also, I like getting in touch with the couchsurfing community as it consists of so many inspiring personalities. When visiting a city, I like strolling around and capturing the experience by taking pictures.

During my time in Shanghai, we had some courchsurfers staying at our place and it was a lot of fun spending time with them and hearing their stories. I also met with other couchsurfers both in the cities I have lived in and in the places I traveled. I really enjoyed hearing their stories, exploring the city or spending fun nights together.

I lived in shared flats with all kinds of nationalities and enjoyed the diversity. My flatmates were Iranian, Brazilian, American, Chinese, French, Danish, German, Cameroonian, Spanish.

Interests

Dancing standard/latin, liking to work out and totally fascinated by start-ups and companies that change the world in their field.
Fell in love with a number of TV shows, for example Suits or Mad Men. Also, I fell for Borussia Dortmund. I feel that traveling alone and traveling with others both have their own charm.

- I lived in Shanghai for six months and experienced more than I could possibly express using a few sentences.
