About Me
I got my BA degree in Bonn 2013, after that I have been working in three different theaters (Düsseldorf; Zürich, Switzerland; Aachen) and now I am traveling the world sind July 2017. I never used couchsurfing during that time but coming to La Réunion I will try again.
I travelled a lot of Europe, Asia, New Zealand and the United States; sometimes with friends, sometimes alone.
I am easy going, friendly and interested in a lot of things; anyway I can easily spend a whole day on a couch watching one episode after another.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When living in Cologne I had the possibilty to host people too. As for now I participate with an charmant attitude and a big heartwarming smile ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I went down the east coast of the US I met a lot of different people. From singles, over professionel surfers, bands and widows; we always had a very good experience with couchsurfing. It was a pleasure to stay with each of them. Having a bottle of wine on the porch, a cool beer in the yard or having a big getting together while barbecuing...everything had its own specialty.
Throughout the whole trip in the US we were blessed with very nice people on our way. Thanks to everyone again who made this possible for us!!!
Interests
I like to be outside and meet with friends, go out dancing and hang around to watch movies on a rainy sunday. All kind of books, right now I am reading 'white tiger' and I like to check out newspapers wherever I am able to read the words and understand a little of the culture I am in.
sports: superbowl or soccer championship of course. I think any sport can be very exciting if you are into it. Let's try something, we probably like it. I am more into winter sports like snowboarding and skiing. I am learning to surf as well.
food :) in every kind, always interested in trying something new. One no go: kummel.
I like to be funny, spiced with irony and a little sarcasm and I am always up for a good laughter, also about myself

Music, Movies, and Books
All kind of tv shows which are to be found on Netflix or any streaming page. I m currently watching the first episode of Midnhunters. The last show I was very very much into (I just finished it) the Sopranos...I think it can be called the mother of all shows ;)
all kinds of music but no heavy metal, and Hardcore shranz etc, but if you ever want to help me understand that kind I would be happy to listen to your reasons :)
In Berlin and Cologne is a technoscene and I am happy to attend parties where I easily dance six hours in a nice club with old and new friends
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled through the Sahara (Africa) on a camel and lived with reindeers beyond the North Polar Circle:); I took the transsibirian train in summer 2017 to Baikal Lake and lived with real nomades in Mongolia for a week; ate Kobe Beef in Osaka and climbed Mount Fuji for sunrise in Japan; captured the north of vietnam on a motorcycle; got rescued from LangTang mountain (in Himalaya, Nepal) with a helicopter; took a 60 hours train cross country from west to east coast of the US; travelled with my 68 year old mother and a friend of hers in a camper van through NZ :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's learn from each other and teach each other... It s always a question of giving and taking.
I play the accordeon (actually I have a small with me right now) and I am happy to play or teach you. German and english as well, if you ld talk ONLY french with me. It would be amazing :)
I am always very interested in how theater works where you live. If you have any connection or recommendation I ld love to check out the theater and even watch a play (even though I might not understand the language they are talking)
