Openminded, outgoing and curious!

I am often described as easygoing and one of my friends who were getting married told me "Janni, you were the easiest one to place at the tables at our wedding, cause you could sit anywhere, even next to my crazy uncle, and you would still have a great time" - and I would.

I work in a shared position, so part time as a social worker and part time as a sport and leisure activity coordinator for families and children in an exposed residential area in Copenhagen.

To meet new people and learn about them and what interests them. When traveling I am very interested in learning about the local area and the culture.

兴趣

Volunteering has been a part of my life since I started training kids in gymnastics at age 13. Since then I have done a lot of different volunteer work. I find that not only am I helping others, but I gain so much more than I give.

First time I really went traveling (on my own) was at age 17 where I went to do volunteer work in Ghana followed by backpacking the country. Here I met a really nice family in the capital who hosted me, as well as other travelers, in their house. We cooked together and had great conversations about anything and everything.

I have lived in Thailand for six months where I was volunteering as a physiotherapist in an NGO, helping children and adults who had neurological deficits or disorders. This was so meaningful so two years later I went volunteering in Thailand again, this time in one of my friends NGO's where we helped refugees from Myanmar.

Documentaries and movies based on real stories are my favourites.

I listen to a lot of different music. If I am chilling at home it is mostly pop, indie and folk music. When focusing at work or when knitting, I often put on classical music.
