Hello everyone! I am Jansje Flugge, a 19-year old girl from the Netherlands, currently living in Arnhem. I just started at ArtEZ and loving the bachelor of dance in education. So I think it is clear I love to dance, but why? First of all, it feels really amazing to feel the energy and movement in your own body. For me it is a way to relax, to be happy, to forget, to cope with my feelings and to communicate about how I think and what I feel. Besides that dance has a lot of health benefits, physical and mental. These are just a few things of what dance means and I'd love to teach this to other people, to show them what they can do with their body and how they will grow as a person and how they can create art if they want to. But for now I am still learning. And I am not only learning in class, I love to interact with people and talk about their lifestyle and opinion about the world or ar art or anything. I would love to travel the world and see more of this world and meet more people, but for now I think couch surfing can be a good way to meet people here, maybe show them a bit of my world here. And later I hope to surf on a lot of other couches. :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To help out, to meet and pay attention, really see new people an discover new places and perspectives. And of course to offer my couch for a good night of sleep and surf on other couches.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music.....there are to any good numbers and artists to chose one favorit, but I really like mumford and sons, ed sheeran, adele, a lot of artists that aren`t really famous......jazz, instrumental.... old records, love too search for the good ones in second hand stores.

Movies, same story....there are so many! and also so many that I haven`t seen.... but one of my favorites is Into the wild. And now and then I really like the romantic or nostalgic movies such as The Notebook, Dear John, High School Musical Disney!

Books: again kind of the same story, but i lke books like Harry Potter, Twilight, books from JoJo Moyes or the opposite: literature (I only read a few good ones but still a newbie).
