I was born on Portugal's north coast but I don't feel really rooted. In the last years, when I was not a privileged university student I threw myself on the road some times. I crossed southern europe and Brazil; I worked on grape-picking, on a boat and in a farm.
I'm a psychiatrist and I'm interested in phenomenology and anthropology.
I used to curate and screen movies in a film club. I like to swim, sailing and surf.
When travelling, I prefer to hitchhike and to improvise along the way. I've been thinking about what tourism has become.
