HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surf and Host.

I am mostly excited about hosting and here's some reasons why:
1. I'm anti-consumeristic and I trust couchsurfer will bring people into my life who understand that.
2. I'm building an intentional community on my campground and land. The more people who roll through, the better the odds of finding great peeps to become platonic (or sexual) life partners.
3. I like to be surrounded by the world, by culture. By artists, freaks, migrants and the like.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started in 2013, but haven't ben active since that year, so I'm kinda.. like a virgin again.

Intereses

I'm learning to define love as a devotion to spiritual growth, which is an idea from Bell Hooks' All About Love.

Also currently reading The Soul of Money, Play it as it Lays, and Sister Outsider.

My work in the world is focussed on narrowing wealth inequality; Things like building cooperatively-owned businesses, creating affordable housing and intentional community, establishing a public bank for Vermont government funds to to divest from Wall Street, and generally thinking and talking with a critical eye to privilege and waste.
