Overview
About Me
I left South Africa to travel the world, especially Europe. So far I haven't covered nearly as much as I'd like but I'm on the hunt for culture, history, architecture, nightlife and tons of other experiences. Food is also a big one. I do love food.
My time is usually split between work, reading, cooking, exploring and planning where to travel next. I would definitely say I'm an adventurer and I love meeting new people to share ideas, culture and experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm not going to beat around the bush: it's mainly because it's cheap. I say cheap and not free because being the way that I am, I refuse to not give something back, whether that be in the form of a meal, teaching, drinks etc. The world I want to live in is one where people are giving, so that's the way I try to live my life too.
I'm also looking to connect with people, share culture and experiences and get ideas of where to explore next.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a bit all over the place with music. I probably like more than I dislike.
Reading is something I'd like to do more of, currently I'm on Fingerprints of the Gods by Graham Hancock, before that was Oscar Wilde's The Portrait of Dorian Grey and it's predecesor was House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski so similar to my music taste in being all over the place.
Movies are great but I tend to watch documentaries, like the BBC Connections series or Edward Bernays's Century of the Self.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Made sushi - No seriously, it's pretty damn good. I've also been skydiving although I think it's very hard to beat sushi so sushi's won.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've taught programming before so if that's something you'd like to get into I can definitely help. I've also spent a few years working in animation and games companies so if you're a creative I might have something useful to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a pretty good cook, can offer some good conversation, love talking about travel and seem to make friends with people wherever I go.
