This is Jared and Athena. We said we are learning english but actually we can speak english. We are not just fluent.
We were bornt and raise up in HK. We love travelling and meet people all over the world. We would like to explore things like culture, nature etc in the world. We hope we can meet more people here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We used to stay in hostels, backpackers, camp ground in past few years and we found thats very cool. We share our journey, life experience, culture to other backpackers. Thats one of our amazing experience in our journey. And now we think its time to try some other new experience. We think here we can meet more people and get more understanding by sharing with locals. Thats why we are here.

Interests

Definitely we would say travelling is our big interest. we are also so much interested in learning other culture and lifestyle. We love taking photos.

Jared likes pop singing and he learnt singing before. He is a social worker so he likes to explore youth issue in different countries.

Athena likes art and has a sense of beauty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We did a road trip in Australia and drove 4,50 000 kms? (as we remember, seem to be) We ve been some green area like the wineries, the semi dessert area like cooper pedy and uluru, topical area like darwin, lots more. Definitely we can spends days to share our whole journey, if you like. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

We love to share about our culture. Some caucasion asked Jared why we use to claim we are Hong Kongese, not Chinese? Well, we are chinese too. We are proud of it but it's a bit difficult to explain here. We can talk more bout than when we meet :) we can teach u some cantonese , espescially slangs too. Athena is gd at mandarin so she can teach us.
