About Me
I'm a striving young professional trying to build my career and keep my travel dreams alive!
I spent two summers in college living out of a tent in the Rocky Mountain West (a summer in Idaho and a summer in Colorado). I was originally born in Wyoming and the mountains have always had my heart although I call Tampa, Florida home for the time being.
I feel most alive while on the trails or doing some type of outdoor recreation. I love mountaineering and have completed a number of day hikes or overnighters on class 3 & 4 peaks in the US and Canada and look forward to climbing many more mountains in the future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a huge believer in authentic experiences and relationships and I dread the thought of traveling just to stay in a hotel.
I want to meet locals in the community, share experiences, and get to know what it is *actually* like to call another place home. Additionally, when I travel alone I want to find others to share experiences with!
I'm still young and curious and am exploring mountain communities I may one day want to call home.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not super particular about music and am open to most genres (although I am not a fan of EMD or heavy metal).
My two favorite movies are Napoleon Dynamite and Catch Me if you Can.
As far as books go, although I like fiction, I have primarily read business or self-help books. One book that really rocked my world is 'New Confessions of an Economic Hitman' I found it really changed my perspective on the US and international involvement.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last August, I road-tripped with a friend from Seattle up into British Columbia to Alberta and finally into Calgary.
We explored several cities and national parks and attempted 3 separate summits. Overall, it was an awesome experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a lot to teach about personal finance, business, and real estate as that has been a huge part of my life over the past few years.
As far as learning goes, I got a minor in Spanish and am always interested in learning more. I want to learn more about rock climbing and mountaineering.
Looking to share experiences :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy to share my experiences, my knowledge, and my company.
Also more than happy to help with chores around the house, take my host out to dinner, or cook a meal.
As with anything, I want to leave things better than I've found them :)
