ABOUT ME

How does one explain in a couple sentences who one is? I suppose I could start by saying that my name is Jared and I'm 23 years old. I've lived in Tucson, Arizona most my life with a few moves back and forth between here and New Mexico over the years. I'm currently a college student with no clear idea of what to pursue for a degree. I find most things interesting and enjoy learning about people and their experiences in life, especially on a personal level. I believe there's more for me to see and experience beyond my four-walled prison cell I call my room.

I think in the right context most anything could be interesting but also boring, if that makes sense. I'm curious about a lot of things but tend to not pursue them as much as I would like. I'm hoping that a new experience of culture or people would be inspiring enough to jar me from my consistent behavior of being a loner locked away in his room most the day. Typically, I do things that don't require much of a social aspect to enjoy. This includes movies, the occasional video game, and wasting a lot of time online. Recently I've been introduced to hiking some of the trails here in Tucson from a good friend who, coincidentally, referred me to this sight. I also have a love/hate relationship with my guitar which would probably explain why I'm not very good at playing it.
