PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is as follows: Live your life now and don't wait for later, because "later" will never come! If you want to do something, go do it now. If you want to travel, do it now! The perfect opportunity will never present itself, so you have to create the opportunities! Life is a series of decisions and priorities, and it is our job to make the choices that matter in the long run!

I love meeting new people, and I look forward to hosting once I get back to the states!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just signed up for couch surfing, so I haven't had any experience yet… but I am looking forward to meeting great hosts, and having an awesome time! I am so excited to return to my home country, and begin hosting and giving back to the Couchsurfing community!

Interests

I love being outdoors. One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is to hit the trails on my mountain bike. I also have travelled extensively, and I can't get enough. To me, experiences are what make memories, and I want to die with loads of them. This world has so much to offer, and it is my goal to experience as much as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

I pretty much enjoy all of Christopher Nolan's work. Inception may be my favorite movie. I enjoy music such as Coldplay, Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't done too many extravagant things, but I do have a collection of small experiences that collectively make me feel proud of what I have accomplished! These include: hanging out with wild Orangutans in Borneo, Malaysia, snorkeling off the coast of Honduras, looking down on Germany and Austria at Hitler's Eagle's nest, hiking through the gorgeous mountain ranges at Seorksan National Park in north-east South Korea, walking through ancient Rome and the Vatican City, exploring the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto Japan, walking through Akihabara in Tokyo, and the list goes on. I am very exited about the next trip I am taking. My wife and I will be traveling from South Korea, through China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal (doing the everest base camp trek), India, Turkey, Greece up through eastern Europe into Italy, and finally into France and England, then departing for the USA.

I have spent a year in South Korea, and in that time I have seen a lot of this gorgeous country. I would be happy to share my experiences/recommendations with anyone who is interested!
