ABOUT ME

I'm a recently graduated computing/telecommunications student living in Toronto. I am an avid photographer who keeps a daily photoblog. I enjoy snowboarding in the winter, and longboarding in the summer. I love to see concerts and do so every chance I get. I love to travel but have not traveled to many places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just recently joined CS and have started going out to the local Toronto meetings. I'm working on convincing my family to let couch surfers come to our home. In a year I plan to move into Toronto and will definitely host at that point.

If you are interested in being shown around Toronto please do not hesitate to contact me. While I am currently unable to host I am more than willing to meet new people and show them my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met up with some local couch surfers and quite enjoyed my time with them. I look forward to surfing and hosting.

Interests

Photography, Network Security, Travel (obviously). I'm really interested in music (I know there is a music section...), I have a very large collection of all sorts of music, and I love going to concerts in Toronto. I'm pretty interested in learning about Cryptography, which is a way of securing information using codes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It may not sound amazing, but a few years ago I went on a road trip up the eastern coast of Canada with my father. That was such a great learning experience. I learned how I want to travel, relaxed and without too much pressure. Every trip should be like a road trip, even if you don't have a car.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've learned that no matter how strongly I think I'm right, usually there's a good chance I'm wrong. I've tried to incorporate this into my life.

I've also learned that there is value in everyone, and I really want to work to figure out what makes people tick. Hopefully I will be able to unlock that value.
