About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Work hard, play hard and do no harm.
ABOUT ME
I am a reporter living near the U.S.-México border and work for a local newspaper. I'm new to the area, and just arrived in early July. I'm originally from Iowa, but have lived in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Cuernavaca, Mor., México.
When I'm not working I enjoy travel in Mexico.
I hope to become better at my craft and travel the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Do no harm, love what you do and do what you love. That, and everything is subject to change.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Had Angkor Wat all to myself on a trip in early 2010. Waited for the sun to go down and security to kick us out. It's a very quiet place with nobody else around.
Teach, Learn, Share
I make a pretty darn good homemade brick-fired pizza, and it's easier than you'd think.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, Canada, Cayman Islands, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Thailand
Countries I’ve Lived In
