ABOUT ME

In a nutshell? Hard working individual,sometimes keeping to myself due to my thought process. Most of the time I will take things and people in around me and move in the direction that will be most beneficial. I'm a good listener, not always comfortable around crowds, but like being on the edge of that group. Go figure! You have to get to know me for the nutshell version.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat everyone you meet the same way you would want to be treated. Never be full of yourself. Lend a hand when needed and.........leave a good impresion on people you meet all while having fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a surfer only, but it has come into my conversation as of late to spread the word on couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed most recently in St. Louis with a friend and had a great experience. After attending the engagement that we were required at, we went out on the town for dinner, drinks and music with our host and her friends. Fun weeknd and great being around such an open group of people. I couldn't have asked for a nicer weekend with new aquaintences. Also surfed in Edwardsville, Il and had a wonderful time getting aquainted. Most of my surfing will be becouse of charity work with me on the road almoast every weekend.

Interests

Outdoors and away from the crowds. Fishing, hunting, downhill & xcountry sking, biking, camping exploring. I founded a charity supporting our military which is why I'm on the road much of my weekends. Keeps me out of trouble too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly I lean towards action movies but a good thriller will get the mind working. I'm a magazine reader and my musical tastes are broad. I guess it depends on my mood or who I'm with. Nothing like some good electric JAZZ. I can spend hours in museums either alone or with someone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Starting the charity is overwelming but very rewarding at the same time. Hit he road alone at 18 on a six hundred mile bike(as in peddle)trip from Chicago through Wisconsin, ending up in Minnesota about 100 miles from South Dakota. Motorcycled around the county for 6 weeks. Survived Marine Corps boot camp.
