Hey! My name is Jarno Klein, a 23 year old Dutch student. I grew up in a city near Amsterdam. Sports like wakeboarding and kitesurfing, and also "sports" like chess are where I like to spend my time. I have a lot of friends around Europe because my high school had a lot of exchange projects with other schools around the continent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to make new friends around the world to broaden my view of other cultures. Travelling is one of my hobbies, but like all other students I don't have a big purse. Therefore couchsurfing might be a good way for me to meet new people and save money on hotels.

Interests

I was born in a city that is located right next to lakes, so naturally I grew up with sports like sailing and wakeboarding. Over the years I have spent many ours on my interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of music genres, ranging from house, hardcore (sometimes), classical (nice when studying for hours on end), to hiphop. My favourite books are the "grijze jager" series (It's Dutch, it means "the rangers apprentice"), and I like too many movies to list here. I also watch a lot of american TV series.
