I don't think Couchsurfing should be used only like a "free place to sleep". It's mostly to spend the time with new people, share life stories and learn new things.

I don't have many references, because I’m quite new here. I registered in 2015, but now I can fully use it. I quit my job as an IT administrator and now i can go on a journey to explore new places and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and it's a great way to visit many places. You get to know all the great spots that no one but locals could know and it's the beauty of Couchsurfing.
