Although I was born and raised in Czechia I've spent several years in Scotland and another year in Hong Kong. Currently I am working full time in Prague but I am waiting for an opportunity that will take me abroad again.
Although I am still 20-something ( and luckily will be for couple more years :D ) I think I have had my deal of partying so now I am a bit more "settled". Which doesn't mean that I don't drink or enjoy a night out but I just switched from clubbing to having a nice chat over a pint of beer in some cosy, chilled pub. I am now living in my own place and I am keen on meeting travelers from all around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well isn't that obvious. This world is just such a beautiful place. There is so much to see, so much to do and experience. Couchsurfing creates and opportunity and I want to take an advantage of that. It is almost a cliche but travelling is truly eye-opening, I have never realized and appreciated what I have before I saw people living in slums in South Africa or in India. Neither did I appreciate days with no rain before I moved to Scotland :D

Interests

I particullarly love anything related to eating, drinking and cooking. To keep in shape and burn all the consumed calories I enjoy most types of sports to point out few let me mention volleyball, swimming and cycling but lately also hiking and I would really like to try climbing.
I can definately enjoy a good movie or spending my time playing some kick-ass computer game ( although my laptop is becoming a bit too outdated to actually run fun game these days :-( ). Besides of all of that I obviously like travelling and meeting new people, learning about foreign cultures and places. Foreign languages doesn come easy to me but I make up for that with enthusiasm :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I am trying to be very open-minded regarding music and so I can enjoy electro music as well as classical orchestral music. These days I am mostly listening to Tom Odell, Avicii and piano movie soundtrack covers.
Movies: LoTR, Matrix but lately mostly Wes Anderson's movies : Moonrise Kingdom, Grandhotel Budapest and others.
Reluctantly I must admitt I got slightly addicted to R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones so that is my top favorite book series atm.
