To find peace within myself, to be in tune with nature, finish my study of acupuncture and start healing others.Explore new places, meet new people, and stay true to who I am and what I want to be. I wish to expand my mind and understanding of everything.

ABOUT ME

I am a 27 year old male, Colorado born. I am an easy going person to be around, and have been told I am an amazing friend to those who I care about. I feel I have, through past experiences, gained a further understanding of my self, the universe as I understand it(which is very little), and the way I wish to live my life. I feel those experiences have given me more patience, peace and have expanded my mind, allowing me to be more relaxed, grounded and far less ignorant than many people I come across everyday. I have an amazing Girlfriend of nearly 2 years, Kelsey Fife, who shares so many of the same attributes, interests and goals as I do, I feel extremely satisfied in that area.

PHILOSOPHY

I personally believe in a Karma like philosophy, not to the extent as others. I have seen good people wronged, and assholes rewarded far too often. Though I do believe that your overall sense of peace and wellbeing is directly linked to how you treat other people. I try not to judge based on stereotypes society has tried to instill in me my whole life(which is a constant challenge), I help others when I am able, and if they urgently need help, that becomes my priority. I believe that animals are the largest source of happiness and love on this planet. I have experienced both the extremely shitty side of existence on this planet, and am now beginning to experience the beautiful, loving existence. The people you surround yourself with have a huge impact in your life, whether on a conscience or sub conscience level.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no direct experience using this website, though I have "couch surfed" on multiple occasions in my life time. Traveling, on several occasions, I had been lucky enough to meet like minded, good people(which can be hard to find), who offered a place to stay for the night, and in one case (In Southern California), the host's convinced me to stay 3 days longer than I had intended. Just recently, a friend called me from across the state telling me his band was performing in Denver, and asked if they could crash with me, though I hadn't met 4 of the members, i trusted my friend, and allowed them to crash with me, it was actually a pleasure to have them here. I know there are good, honest, and legitimately fun people out there, yet they can be difficult to find...which is why I hope this website will be a way to meet these people.

Interests

Hiking, Biking, Camping, Traveling(when I have the time), Swimming, Scuba-Diving, Meeting interesting people to converse with, occasionally attempting to further expand my mind through the use of holistic tools, herbal mixtures, and certain fungi...in the right environment with the right people. Art(Sculpting,Carving,Building),Music,Learning,Meditating, Exercising,Metal Working, Writing, Eastern Philosophy(Know very little),Learning about other cultures,Trying to Educate people on common misconceptions....it goes on and on

Music, Movies, and Books

Music; I love live music, of any genre, as long as the artist creating it is actually expressing themselves through their music, and not imitating what is popular at the time, or even worse, doing cover's of overplayed, overrated songs, unless of course they put their own spin on it, completely revamp it so the original is barely recognizable besides the lyrics, which are a form of poetry and can be used to express entirely different emotions than the original song.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have experienced things which totally absolutely contradict everything that I have been told about space, the universe, and dimensions. I have had a full on out of body experience which lasted what feels like an eternity, during which time i saw that things are all connected, physically, electrically, though we cannot see them with the extremely limited capabilities of our eyes. I need not elaborate, since most of what i saw, clearer than i've seen anything else in my life, i am unable to find the correct words to accurately describe. I would be more likely to attempt explain in person.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anyone with knowledge in area's that I know little about, as long as the person is a reliable source of information and can back up their statements, if possible(i know some things cannot be explained....). I want to teach people what I know to be true, and more importantly, what I know to be Lies, common misconceptions, propaganda. I may not know what the truth actually is behind the lies, but I know there are lies, many of them, and people need to open their eyes, minds, and start using basic common sense, skepticism and not believe every ridiculous thing they are told by people who have proven to be unreliable liars.
