Hi , my name is Jarrid, born in 1988 in Belgium and still living there. I have that strange USA-love inside of me, since my 20’s anytime I’ve talked or heared about the States I had these butterfly’s in my belly.

That’s why I made up my mind and I want to start vlogging/blogging about the USA. I have the feeling that in Europe, people have a very negative view on the states. But the time that I travelled trough the states, I met some great American people, very open and friendly.

That’s why I started a profile on Couchsurfing, to meet knew Americans. I’m sorry if I‘m offending non-Americans , but I’m sure there will be other nice Belgian people to host/guide/meet you...

So if you’re American and you need a guide to visit Brussels, let me know and maybe we can meet up! Currently not hosting, but hopely in the future I can convince my girlfriend to do so...

As I said above, I’ve started a website to promote the USA and I’m building out a network of people who can tell me more about the american lifestyle and his/her feelings about the USA. In return I can guide you trough Brussels and tell you about the Belgian lifestyle (it’s not only fries, beer and chocolate😜) . I’m not hosting yet, but when our home will be ready, I’m willing to host US citizens who are open to host me back if I visit the states.
