ABOUT ME

Hey I am Jaryd,

I love waking up on a powder day!
I love that first scoop out of a jar of peanut butter and when your ears finally pop after a really long time.
I get excited when I actually make the right amount of spaghetti or that moment just as the aeroplane starts to take off.
I love roasting marshmallows and when you can peel an orange in one go
I didn't grow up around the snow but I love it more than avocado and eggs on toast.
When I am not skiing or hiking you will find me traveling or somewhere close to an ocean.
I dislike coffee, licorice, and that feeling when you need to sneeze but can't, I have a phobia of paddlepop sticks and if I could have a superpower it would be the ability to travel back in time...

PHILOSOPHY

I truly believe that a postive attitude is the secret to enjoying life. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

I want to participate by meeting new people and truly experiencing a place I go through a locals eyes, I would love to host when I get home and support the couch surfing community.

I listen to all types of music especially something I can dance too or sing along too. I really enjoy reading interesting books that can teach me something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Lions and Leopards on Safari in Africa. Sleeping on beaches in Mexico. Snow skiing in Canada and Japan for 5 months. Camping at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Jumping out of a plane 14000 ft high.
