About Me

Currently in Beijing for 2.5 years

Something you are supposed to know before sending the request:

My job involves a few business trips so I will decline the request if I’m not in Beijing during your stay. Also I can be slow for messages during my working hours.

I sleep early and get up early on workdays. You don’t have to get home early but please be quiet and no voice messages or calls if it’s late (after 10pm)

I get up late on weekends and holidays. I always have good sleep and you don’t have to wait for me to wake up. I’m totally fine that you go out without morning greetings

Put everything back to the way it was after use and cover the food with plastic wrap before putting it in the fridge

Open the window in the living room for fresh air if you are the last one leaving.

So if all okay with you feel free to message me here or WeChat(preferred) : Jas_Wuu or Insta: Jas_Wuuuuu or FB: Jas Wu (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100009272267169)

Something you should know before visiting Beijing:

Organize your trip to the Forbidden City & Tian’an’men Square: make sure to book the ticket one week before the day you visit. Also many tourist attractions close on Monday for weekly maintenance, so hiking the Great Wall or Hutongs could be the best choice instead

Google Maps ❌ Apple map or Amap (高德地图) ✅

Don’t forget to scan the QR code when get off the bus or the fee for whole range will be charged

Contact the hotel/hostel before your arrival to make sure foreign guests are allowed to be accepted

WeChat is kinda a must. You can use it to…pay bills, take subways/buses/trains, call taxis, top up mobile credit, order food, send texts/images/videos/voice messages, translate texts, book hotels/tours, chat in groups and so much more. I can help with the registration

Download a VPN if you wanna stay in touch with your friends and family at home. Free ones are not good from my experience

Take your passport anytime cuz you cannot enter tourist attractions without it and in some central subway stations your ID might be checked

Boiled water for drinking please
