About Me

I am an open-minded guy who is most the time very happy about how life is going. Right now, I am studying an M.A. in Global Political Economy at the University of Kassel in Germany.

Before studying, I spent a whole year in Ghana, where I did a voluntary service. This was a very important experience for me. During my studies I found the time to travel India for two months as well as the North-Eastern Part of the US and South-Eastern part of Canada during a roadtrip with friends. Those were great experiences as I got to experience different cultures and ways of life which really had and still have an influence on my way of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling, it is my belief that there is no better way of getting to know to the places than being there and spending time with locals. In this way, one gets in touch with the local community and places way faster. Couchsurfing is therefore the best opportunity to turn my journeys into unique and lasting experiences.

Interests

I am an active guy who likes to go for a hike, bike around or do any other kind of sports. Nevertheless, I also enjoy relaxing activities like reading and listening to music as well as good conversations with interesting people.

This also fits one of my most favorite things: Getting to know to the local kitchen and broaden my knowledge abut the different cuisines of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a voluntary service for one year in Ghana. That was really an intense and amazing experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

Playing cards together is always cool. Here you can learn, teach and share all the time ;)

But I am also interested in the local kitchen to enrich my knowledge and possible menu when I am back home. As I have been in India and Ghana, I would be able to share/exchange some recipes with you for sure ;)
