Hi!
I'm a french PhD student living in Martigny (Switzerland). I love Couchsurfing, it enables me to meet so many lovely people. I I live with my wife Marie, and both enjoy hosting people and traveling around the world.

Please note that most of the time, we aren't available to host during weekends. So, unless you are a mountaineer/climber and you have your gear (and want to go on a two days tour), there is a 99% chance that I'll not be able to host you... During the week, if we are here, we'll be very happy to host you. We prefer hosting for short term period (one to two nights). Usually we're very busy so we don't have much time to spend with our host, but we can give much advice in the evening ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

From my point of view, the most important thing is meeting people, especially when you travel. That's why I don't like hotels because you see nobody so you learn nearly anything... Thus, Couchsurfing is the best app ever not because you can get a couch for free but because you meet always new people that are different and make you traveling just by discussing.

兴趣

I love mountains in general and nature! So I do a lot of mountain sports like mountaineering, ski touring, rock climbing, paragliding...
I love also traveling around the world and meeting new people every day! I like to discover new cultures, religions, ideas... Travel offers this opportunity for real.
I like to study because you learn something else every day and that's is very important for me! As my studies are international focused, I discover the world thanks to my studies, and then, when I'm traveling, it's even better =)

I don't know... I love adventures so I have many great adventures, but no one that is above all =)
Last year, my girlfriend Marie and I took a gap year to accomplish our project: the Cross-border mountain Trip (https://thecbmt.com/). The project aimed to hitchhike from France to Pakistan and do a lot of mountain sports during the trip!
