Hello lovely people,

I am Jasmin: friendly, open minded, curious, 21 years old and I grew up in Berlin, Germany. After I have finished Highschool I went to Kenya for 1 year where I was working as a volunteer in an orphanage. This year has teached me a lot. I found a family, friends and a new home. Since then I feel like there is so much to explore in this world and that is why I want to travel. Especially meeting up with locals is the best way to get to know the cultures, traditions, languages and lifestyle of the country.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

When I was traveling through Ethiopia with a friend we have found a host on Couchsurfing in Addis Ababa. He was really nice and welcoming and it was the perfect first Couchsurfing experience for me. Therefore I thought it is such a good opportunity to meet new people from all over the world. And this is more worth than any luxury hotel. I would like to have more wonderful experiences like this, that is why I am on Couchsurfing.

I listen to different kinds of music like reagge, ska, punk, psychedelic and stoner rock and folk. It is a pleasure for me to go to conerts and dance. When it comes to movies and books I like fantasy and science fiction and prefer philosophy and society critical genres.
