About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get back to where I belong.

ABOUT ME

Dia duit. Jasmin is ainm dom.

I am very crazy, have odd hobbies and do weird sh** all the time, yeah that's basically me in a nutshell. I just decided to go abroad (again) in two weeks (after having come back just a week ago) and with almost no liquids on me. Oh well.

I sometimes talk more than I'm supposed to and I always say what I think. This is often misunderstood by people because it usually sounds like criticism and hurts like a bi*** but it's just brutally honest and truth hurts.

I am a perfectionist, so bad that I would rather destroy something I spent lots of time on than accept that it will never be the way I want it to.

Actually I only have two real good qualities if I dare say so myself:
1. I am able to love people the way they are. I think this mostly concerns partners, because I would never try to change anyone, even if I did not like some parts of their personality.
2. I am extremely generous.
Sometimes this can be a drag, because I keep spending money (I don't have) on stuff I can give to people. I just like making people happy (although this contradicts my rather rude attitude..) and I just ... buy friends stuff. I'd go as far as buying someone a flight ticket so they could come visit and I could host them.

I am an extreme narcisist. Yep, that's what I am. Could stare at my own pictures forever.
But maybe that is just because:

My love of pictures. You best hide all your photographs if you intend to meet with me. I love all of them and I wish to see them all please. :D

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that you can learn something from everyone and never to give in or up. (The latter can be a drag some times because I find it hard to abort something and... yeah... that can be a hassle!)

I am also very competitive and if there are two things I hate then those are 1. racism 2. losing. Honestly, even in my English classes I have to be THE BEST or I'm not content. Arrrgh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet people, obvious enough. I met some really awesome ones on my last trip and blaaaaa.

I also enjoy learning about new cultures and meeting people in general. I'm all up for beer, Guiness (Actually I hate Guiness) and most loved cider. And I'll practically do anything as long as it's fun. I'm up for crazy road trips as well as all day backpacking! OR stealing boats, hiking at night, wandering around town/land without direction, taking random buses/ferries/planes...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ffuuuuh,

I met some wonderful people. Some of which are late, lazy, crazy. Some of them were pretty insane too, but as I am even worse- no blame on them ;).

Interests

I'm very creative, love writing and reading, painting and drawing and also learning. I do enjoy learning new languages the most, although some people might think I'm a bit close minded because I get fixed on one thing and there wont be time for anything else... at all.
I am writing my own book (although that is on hiatus after I decided to rewrite the whole thing when I was about 1/3 done, Argh, Perfectionism.).

I sometimes do articles for student magazins, one should be in the Substance Project October 2012, I had an online blog but decided to quit writing because I couldn't be arsed to advertise it so no one read it.

Also: Wearing short and tights things and behaving more like a guy than a girl. (Honestly, I do llove mini skirts and hotpants/shorts)

I'm not a very proper lady... :/

Music, Movies, and Books

Best movie ever made is Catch me if you can. Also a great fan of The Wind That Shakes The Barley, generally everything with Leo di Caprio (No I don't crush, I just think he's cute and a good actor). NCIS, the Mentalist, Dr Who, Star Wars, Anything Sci fi, you get it. Firefly... Etc.!

Music: Indie. PLEASE give me moar. My favourite band is and will always be (unless I find someone better, which is highly doubtful) Foals. I also do like Two door cinema club (although the guy sings like a girl), Boy&Bear, the Afters, the script, Breaking Benjamin, Bright Eyes.. etc.!
(Sadly I've never ever been to ANY concert at all -.-)

Books. I usually read scientific books and err spiritual stuff. Although I'm not religious, I believe in god as the substance out of which everything is/was made, the power that resides within each and everyone of us and unites us. Other than that: I loved Rivers of London. Read all three, although it's complete BS ;).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things I've done, huh.

Swimming in the Irish Sea in late August, it was colder outside than inside. My friend who urged me to (It was my idea first!!) froze his balls off, I had fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach any willing sheep German. Usually I talk a lot anyways and lots of random stuff that is completely arbitrary and not connected to whatever was said before. However, if you listen closely, you will certainly be able to learn: Something!!

I would love to meet people who can speak Irish, because I am learning how to and I need practice, practice, practice. Also would be willing to do some writing, although I want to get fluent first before I attempt to write.

Share: A good time? ._.
