Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Northern Germany, I studied in Magdeburg and now I am living in Leipzig since July 2019. I work as an industrial engineer (Mo-Fr), and Fr-Sa sometimes as an eventmanager.
It's told that people from northern Germany are sometimes a bit cold or unapproachable. And there a a lot of jokes about us not using many words. :-) It is kind of right, especially in northern Germany people sometimes need a few days to open up and we are able to do a full conversation with less than 10 words. :-)
I am trying not to appear like this, but it may happen, that I start conversations by myself or asking questions to you only after a few days. If thats the case a) live with it and wait or b) ask me something, answering is not the problem :-P
But remind this: If you ever got in the heart of one of us, you'll have a friend for life.
And as you can see in my references, it can't be as worse as it seems.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The short answer: Why not? :-)
When I travel to different countries and/or cultures, I don't want wo stay in some hotel, which looks like every other hotel in the world. I want to get to know the people, how are they living, what are the characeristics of their culture. I would like to give people the same, a chance to stay in a authentical german household, getting to know our culture. And I really like having guests and company.
Interests
QiGong, learning other languages, reading, cooking, travelling, meeting people from all over the world, working on different kinds of events and festivals , being outside, go for long walks, alternative medicine
And I am interested in so many other things I still don't know much about, for example learning to play the guitar, learn yoga, learn coding, ....
Music, Movies, and Books

What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking a typical german dish. But to be honest: typical germans dishes are usually with meat, often pork or beef. So if you are vegetarian/vegan or avoid some kinds of meat for whatever reason it is kind of difficult
Its possible to give you a hand an whatever project you are working on
I also have big experiances in gastronomy, beeing a waitress, barkeeping,...
