About Me

Hello everyone!

My name is Jasmine, I'm currently 19 and I live in a small place near Venice, Italy.
My major is Tourism and Languages.
If you're reading my profile it probably means that I contacted you, I hope I will be able to show you enough of me throughout this brief introduction.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started to travel as soon as I turned 18.
My first trip was a solo trip to South Korea, Busan. I realized so many things about myself and the world, discovering new realities and mentalities, but I know it is still not enough.
I need to travel more, visit more places and meet new people in order to feel happy and grow as a person.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is various, I listen to everything that comes out of the radio, but I must say I love hip hop and rap music the most, especially songs that actually say something.

My favorite movie ever is Unbroken, the story of this legendary Italian man has inspired me when I didn't have enough strength to overcome some difficulties.
I like horror movies too (The Grudge, The Conjuring, Insidious,..) and travelling movies (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Eat Pray Love,...).

My favorite author is Stephen King and my favorite book of his is Christine. I've read all of his books, he never dissapoints me.
I also read spiritual books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I took a plane I choose to go from Italy to Korea, alone.
Does it count as incredible?
I can also learn languages on my own pretty fast. I've learnt Korean by myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

Of course, I have so many stories to share and so many things to tell you about Italy!
If you are learning Italian, English, French or Korean of course it would be nice to practice together!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my help whenever is needed, I would be glad to do it since hosts are giving me the chance to sleep in their house.
