Hello! I am a professional dancer by trade and a nomad at life. Grew up in Vancouver, BC, spent 4 years in Boston MA to earn a degree in dancing, lived in NYC for about a year and a half until my visa ended. Since then I've ventured around Europe and spent 3 months in SE Asia where all kinds of rich questions about life and priorities bubbled for me. I have just moved to London and excited to find my way of life here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love people. I spent 6 weeks in Europe last year where I met so many beautiful, and incredibly generous people that I would otherwise not have met if it weren't for Couchsurfing. I've since been especially intrigued by making spontaneous and unexpected friendships; trying my best to throw myself into challenging and mysterious situations, to see what rolls out of it. The ability to open oneself to the world and its people is such a precious thing. I am constantly amazed at how available deep connections are, if you just open yourself to it.

Interests

I've been in dance classes since the age of 8 so, I'd say that must be an interest (and way of life) for me. I love the focus in taking a ballet class, but I also love being completely silly and groovy on the dance floor. I love to explore and to walk new adventures. Scenery as simple as green trees excite me and I am always on the hunt for great food. I like yoga, meditating, and the idea of living in the present. Learning a new language is hard but I love the idea of it.

I love the Motown vibes.

I like to read light books on Neuroscience. Especially those by the late Oliver Sacks. I am fascinated by the brain and its malleability.
