Kia ora! I'm Jasmine, I live with my husband and 2 cats in Christchurch New Zealand. I grew up in rural New Zealand and a healthy dose of travelling the countryside sparked a love of meeting people and seeing new places.

I love the adrenalin rush of fast horses, the luge, canyon swings & bungy jumps and I can't wait to go white water rafting and hot air ballooning.

I'd love to start spreading my love for Christchurch and Canterbury with travellers and enable them to stay longer and make the most of their trip to New Zealand! We're the type of people who will let you do your own thing or show you around our favourite spots if you like - you're even welcome to join in with our event and activities!

We are heading to Europe in April 2018 so want to give back to the community before we hit the road.

Someone once described my taste in music as indy pop. I don't know much about music - usually just the lyrics and whether or not I like it. My playlist is quite eclectic!

My guilty pleasure and favourite author is anything by Young Adult author Tamora Pierce.

Keep the scary movies away from me - although Stu is a lover of those. I'm more of a comedy, action, rom-com watcher.

The most amazing thing I've done is move to Canada for a university Exchange. It really pushed me to be confident in myself and I made some of the best friends a girl could ask for.

Second to that is the Shotover Canyon Swing in Queenstown. Such a thrill i did it a second time!
