Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing to see the world and meet some of the awesome folk in it! I would love to offer my home, but right now I share a teeny, tiny NY apartment with too many other folk for it to be a comfortable situation for more than one day.

Right now I'm listening to Cómo Te Quiero by Khurangbin, the last movie I saw was Skate Kitchen (which I recommend if you're looking for something on a rainy day), and I am currently reading Manning Marable's Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a total whim while abroad in the UK, I detoured my travels at the last minute--I quite literally got off of the bus I was on at the next stop in the middle of the night--and hitch hiked to a city where they were holding an open casting call for the new Star Wars films. I obviously didn't get a role, BUT I met some amazing people on the way and got to read some weird galactic scenes. Don't know if it's "amazing" per say, but definitely entertaining.
