Hello everyone! I'm Li-Chieh (you can call me Jasmine as well), a taiwanese girl who's currently studying in Kaohsiung, in the south of Taiwan.
Well, what to say about me? Basically I'm a person who's passionated by movies, music, novels, eating and life itself!
I suppose I'm a open-minded and ambivert person. Not always smiling, but always smile sincerely! :)
I love having conversations with others to share my thoughts and also truly listen to others.
I travel because I want to really see the world instead of staying in my comfort zone all the time.
I want to meet different people from all kinds of culture around the world. I want to listen to their voices and get to know how they think about this big but also small world.

Je suis passionnée par les films, la musique, les romans, manger et la vie !
Si je dois trouver des mots qui m décrient, ils doivent être ouvert d'esprit et ambivert.
Je voyage parce que je voudrais voir le monde réellement avec mes yeux et ça me permet de sortir de ma zone de comfort.

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to meet different people of different cultures from all around the world!
I'm curious about this world, so I decided to see it by my own eyes and communicate with people on the other parts of the planet.
And of course, it's a great way to travel for a traveler like me who doesn't have a big budget (let's be honest haha)
Also, couchsurfing is to me a proof that there are still a lot of kind people and the world is not that complicated and dangerous as we imagine.

Je suis sur Couchsurfing pour rencontrer des gens qui viennent des cultures différentes. Parce que je suis très curieuse de savoir ce que les gens des autres cultures pensent et de découvrir les différences culturelles entre tous les sortes de gens. En plus je pense que c’est trop cool de rester dans la maison des autres, c’est comme tout le monde est une famille et c’est super pour moi. C'est une preuve pour moi qu'il y a encore beaucoup de gens sympas et que le monde n'est pas si compliqué et dangereux.

I love to watch films, it makes me think and experience different things gives me a wider vision. I also like listening to music, almost all kinds of it. I like to read novels as well.

J’adore regarder des films. Les films qui parlent des choses interessantes, par exemple, la vie, le monde, les relations entre les gens...tout ! Il me fait réfléchir d’une façon écouter de la musique (presque tous les genres) et lire des romans.

Travelling alone for the first time in my life by doing volunteer work and using couchsurfing, just awesome.
It kind of changed my attitude of living my life.

I would love to tell you what Taiwanese culture is like (not the cliché of course!) and if you are interested in Mandarin, I'd be glad to teach you as well! I would also like to share my thoughts about movies, novels, music, current issues...I don't know, everything I guess, ans also listen to yours! Ohh and also, I like to cook, so if you want to try some vegetarian/vegan food, I can cook for you!

J’aimerais bien parler des choses de mon pays (mais pas des clichés) et t’apprendre le chinois ! Je voudrais aussi partager mes pensées sur tous les sujets et j’écoute aussi les tiennes. De cette façon, on pourra savoir ce qu’on pense et avoir des conversations vraiment intéressantes.
