ABOUT ME

My name is Jasmine, and I am a 23 year old student from Ontario Canada. I am currently in Nantes, France for a year studying at the local university through an exchange program offered by my university in Ontario. Coming to Europe has always been a dream of mine, and while I am here I would like to explore as many of the beautiful countries as I can. I hope to visit many places and learn about all the different cultures and customs.

PHILOSOPHY

You Only Live Once! I know this saying has become over used in the media, but the true meaning behind is just great. I try to make the best out of every situation, every speed bump, and live life to the fullest. There are so many things I want to do, and I plan on accomplishing them all!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the couchsurfing world, and am open to meeting new people. I am a very friendly outgoing person who is never too shy to talk to someone new.

Interests

My native language is English, and I study French. I love practising my French and attempting to learn as many new languages as I can.
I love the outdoors, and enjoy exploring non-touristy areas such as nice forests, beaches, or that local restaurant or pub.
I enjoy playing sports, with volleyball being my favourite.
I LOVE animals, all animals, and of course kids.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are far too many for me to list. I love comedies, action films, and horror flicks. I enjoy reading science articles, especially about neuropsychology, and I love all music. I am pretty open to anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing thing I have done would probably be skydiving. It was the biggest thrill of my life, and I am so happy I did it.
Most amazing thing I have seen would be the smiling faces of my niece and nephews. The world is a gorgeous place, and I want to see as much of it as possible, but there is nothing better than seeing and being with your family.
