ABOUT ME

I am definitely creative as that is what I have been doing since I was a kid. I paint and sew and love anything crafty and creative. Friends may describe me as a calm person as I rarely get in a panic or stressed and love to just chill out with friends. I am a honest straight up sort of person and admire this in other people.
Friends may also describe me as outdoorsy and always enjoying nature.

Interests

I love the ocean and spending time by the sea. It calms and revitalises me and many of my life decisions have been influenced by my need to be by the ocean.
I love nature and especially plants. I love learning about plants and their properties.
The creative arts is part of who I am and have studied and practiced it for many years.
I also have a passion for great music and am really interested in music from other cultures. Unfortunately I don't play an instrument but I make a great fan.

Music, Movies, and Books

i love jazz music and music from around the world like mali, brazil etc.
i have not read much recent as when i have spare time i sketch.
also there is nothing like a live rock or metal gig.
i enjoy french cinema, documentaries and fantasy/sci fi

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to surf with a whole pod of dolphins on two different occasions and both left me with a big grin on my face.
Being in the ocean constantly leaves you with moments where you feel awestruck.
An important time for me was recently when my mother died of cancer and having to say goodbye reminded me that I have been lucky enough to feel true love.

Teach, Learn, Share

i have been told i am a really good vegetarian cook by people who have sampled my dishes and would be happy to cook for hosts i am visiting or guests to my place.
I am a confident painter and can help with community arts projects of teaching art if anyone would like.
I am knowledgeable about plants and nature and am always keen to learn more
