I grew up in Denver, Colorado which helps explain my love of the outdoors and craft beer. I'm a certified public accountant, now residing in Houston, Texas and have worked for a nonprofit for most of my adulthood. In my late twenties I quit my job to do my first solo trip with a work/travel visa in New Zealand and caught the couchsurfing bug there. I've met some amazing people here and would love to meet even more! More rando stuff about me: I'm the opposite of a picky eater and love trying new foods. One "food" I do not like is fortune cookies... Sugared cardboard. I like lists. I like adventure. I'd like to learn Spanish eventually.

To meet some awesome new people while traveling and go do fun stuff with said people. Some of those new people will hopefully lend part of their home to hang out in/sleep at so I can save some money to go do even more fun things. Those new people will evolve into old friendships. :)

I can appreciate most types of music and do not have a favorite. Any sort of live concert is fun. I don't listen to screamo, hard metal or jazz on the regular though.

I also do not have a favorite movie. Some that I have really enjoyed off the top of my head though are: The Princess Bride, Shaun of the Dead, Eternal Sunshine, Dune... Up made me cry like a baby.
