Spent five months traveling in 2010 around the world= amazing places, beautiful people, and inspiring memories. Love to meet new people, see new places, and experience new things. Interested especially in culture, religion, philosophy and anything thought and conversation provoking. Like to relax over a wine or beer with good music and great company.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Signed up with CS when I began travelling. Have been hosted by amazing people, and met wonderful guys and gals all over the world! Can't wait to host when I get home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met fantastic people! Made great friends and shared wonderful experiences. Love it! However one thing to note... couchsurfing is NOT a dating website. I dont agree with hosting to try and hook up!!

Love music! Can appreciate most genres. Really enjoy anything with a bit of talent to it. Love to hear new music, especially from different countries. Favourite genre is probably more alternative, but like I said... I could like anything! Some of my regular listens at the moment include: Beirut, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Explosions in the Sky, Pink Floyd, Fly My Pretties, The Killers, Muse, Michael Jackson, the Mars Volta, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Modest Mouse, TV on the Radio, White Stripes, The Strokes, Pendulum, Shapeshifter, Massive Attack, A Perfect Circle,Kings of Leon, The Kooks, Eric Clapton, Jack Johnson,Depeche Mode, Bob Marley, Bjork, Groove Armada... and so much more!

Enjoy reading, wish I had more time to do it. Authors- Wilbur Smith, Dan Brown, Jodie Picoult, Ken Follet, Richard Dawkins. Titles- Marley and Me, The Lovely Bones... Any good read. I especially enjoy novels that are set in different eras

Movies with unique storylines that involve a bit of thought. Love anything with a twist, or based on true story movies. Such as... The Butterfly Effect, Inception, Shutter Island, Marley and Me, Benjamin Button, Little Miss Sunshine, Shawshank Redemption, Slumdog Millionaire, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, Pay it Forward...

Mostly I love to watch the sun rise, wherever it may be... it's such a beautiful thing.

I used to learn the guitar a long while ago... so I would love to learn more, or I can teach the very basics in chords (although I no longer remember any songs)
