To take advantage of the world, eat a lot of different food, and maybe, when I'm done taking advantage, give something back : ).

ABOUT ME

I am a Taurus through and through. In fact, for both of our conveniences I have copy and pasted a description of the typical Taurus:

Taurus is the sign of practicality and possessions. People born under the sign of Taurus tend to be very patient, practical and dedicated people. Such people are usually very cautious when dealing with people, life and money. They have a curious power of dominating others, even when not conscious of trying to do so.

People who were born in that time are extremely faithful, with a strong need for security and a settled routine. Although they are very earthy, they can also be highly romantic and sensitive when it comes to love.

They have great power of endurance, both physical and mental, and can pass through enormous strains of fatigue as long as the excitement or determination lasts.

They make wonderful hosts and hostesses, and have great taste about food, and in the management of their houses they can make much out of little.

Some other tidbits:

*I started doing theatre when I was 8 years old, so it has become a passion of mine. Its sort of like being in a long term relationship: you don't know if you really like it, but you don't know if you could function without it. That being said, I love to go to the theatre whether it be for a play, an opera, or a dance company. I enjoy almost all forms of art.

**I hate running more than any other physical activity.

***While all of you out there are teaching yourself a third language, I am teaching myself to relax.

****I try to keep an open heart and an open mind about things. At the end of the day we have nothing but the people we know and our experiences, so I try to make it all count.

The only way I am participating right now is by using the system ... I'm not gonna lie. HOWEVER, once I move into my house, I will host as many people as I can fit!

I've only done it once, but I'm planning to get much more experience on my big trip in March.

I like almost any book.

I like almost any movie.

And I like mostly bad music. However, The Beatles are by far my favorite band of all times, and they definitely did not lack as musicians.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was 17 years old, and winter was just starting to thaw into spring. On Lake Michigan, there was a build up of ice and snow that dropped off making a little cliff. Despite the dangers of it, what with the ice thawing and all, I climbed to the top and watched a thunderstorm come in from Chicago and stood there as it poured. It by far beat being in Morocco or Italy or Greece.
