I enjoy bicycling, sailing, walking and any other form of slow moving through this world. I have done some cycling in the USA and Canada. While I have not sailed much since I was younger it has always been something that I enjoy or fantasize about. I have walked parts of the Camino de Santiago in Spain and have future plans to walk the whole thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people and hearing the stories from the locals of the areas I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is Radiohead, Frightened Rabbit, IAMX, Placebo, Pinata Protest, and many more. I do not remember movies for very long, but My own private Idaho is a movie I always enjoy. I mainly enjoy more of the independent movies though. I usually read philosophical, political, environmental, and history books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2010 I decided after riding my bicycle from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 8 crazy days. I made up my mind to give up owning a car. The last nine years I have taken the train around the US and have found other ways of getting around.
