About Me

I'm a kiwi, have been travelling for a while now. Currently in the UK, deciding if I want to live here or move on.

Always up for meeting new people, other travellers and locals alike. I enjoy getting into the local food and beer of whatever country I'm in. I generally travel to experience other cultures and meet fellow travellers, sharing experiences, getting travel advice.

When I'm not travelling or working, I like to play squash, talk shit with my friends, discover new places, or play other casual sports that I'm not very good at.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Originally I got Couchsurfing because I got invited to a couchsurfing boat party in the Philippines. It was epic. But now I'm just using it to meet other travellers and locals alike. Hit me up if you want to hang out

To name a few

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing an island in Komodo National Park in Indonesia and not being able to see another living soul for 360 degrees over the most naturally stunning landscape I've ever seen - the scathing sunburn that followed was definitely worth it

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've travelled to most countries in SE Asia now and am always happy to give advice based on my experiences or what I've heard from others.

New Zealanders have a particular dry sense of humour so you could have that to look forward to..

Always up to do something exciting and I'm pretty flexible so whether it be 5 hour minibus ride out to the middle of nowhere to wash some cared-for elephants in a river or even just going out drinking one night, I'm usually pretty keen to tag along.

Oh and a lot of people find my accent difficult so hopefully that doesn't deter you.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, South Korea, Thailand, United States, Vanuatu, Viet Nam
