Having grown up the son of a Navy officer, I've had the fortunate opportunity to live in some of the worlds most exciting and well-known cities - San Diego, Seattle, and London. After my dad retired, my family permanently settled in Virginia Beach/Norfolk. After graduating from high school I participated in an internship with Walt Disney World as a trainer for the EPCOT Food & Wine festival. Thereafter, I returned to Virginia and finished my degree in biology at Old Dominion University. For the last 10+ years I've worked for one of the world's leading, yet lesser known, mutual fund families - Capital Group (a.k.a. American Funds).
