Nine out of ten dentists recommend brushing twice a day...and, coincidentally, those same nine dentists would describe me in the following way (ignore the tenth dentist -- such a dick):

- sexy AF (OK, maybe just that one dentist I dated for a few months -- if you're reading this: sup, baby?)

I'm a busy professional by day, but by night and on weekends, I like to do lots of stuff -- see interests below.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Heard some good stuff about this couchsurfing thing, and I'm always down for a road trip/flight or hell, even finding someone local who subscribes to HBO so I can FINALLY watch "Game of Thrones" in real time. :)

Interests

I like all of the stuff listed below, in any combination. Yes, smart-ass, that DOES include playing tennis AND bowling WHILE enjoying delicious huevos rancheros ALONG WITH playing piano. I'm that talented.

But seriously, I believe life's an adventure, and I look forward to having many more...hopefully with some of yinz! (Note: "yinz" is a Pittsburgh-based word, and it means "you all." If you've never heard of Pittsburghese, Google dat shit -- it's hilarious!)

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: '90s alterna rock is my go-to genre (don't judge), but I'm down with anything that's catchy or cool. They Might Be Giants, The Sundays, the Beautiful South, R.E.M. , 10,000 Maniacs, Cake, Jeremy Fisher, Rachel Platten...just a few of my favorites.

MOVIES: "Old School" is one of my all-time favorites. "Heathers" is up there, too. "Strangers with Candy" the MOVIE kinda sucked, by my God, that TV series...brilliant. Oh, I guess I should mention a movie from the last ten years, huh? I really liked the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" movie (way more than I expected to) and "Deadpool" was pretty decent, too.

BOOKS: Khaled Hosseini is my idol. That man writes like no other. (If you know someone else who writes as well as him, though, please let me know. Immediately.) So any of his books are amazing, in my mind. I also like thrillers, stuff from Brad Meltzer, James Patterson (is that cheesy? Be honest), John Grisham, playas like them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At a 10,000 Maniacs concert, I got onstage and sang a duet with Natalie Merchant AND played piano in front of the crowd (because she forgot the chords). I felt like a superstar for about three months after that because people actually recognized me from that concert. (YES, I'll autograph your napkin at the bar, twist my arm.)

With hosts? So people who put me up?

Hmm, I'm extremely respectful of other peoples' property, so I'd imagine that's a good trait to have in a surfer. I'm also fun to be around, or so I've been told. Looking forward to seeing what comes about, and hope you are, too!
