About Me

I'm a student from the Boston area and I am Dominican. I am born and raised in Boston, and I currently go to Tufts University. I'm still trying to get my life together, but that happens at a gradual pace!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm thinking about traveling around for different music festivals around the world, and also do some traveling and explorations to experience different cultures and see how people live around the world!

Interests

Science, Nature, Computers and Technology, Music, and gaming. A lot of gaming. I am also more than down to just chill and hang out, and would love to explore the city for a little while, since I have never really done any traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: My go-to genre is heavy metal, but I love listening to music, so I am down to give anything a try!

A few of my favorite artists La Dispute, Kendrick Lamar, Anaal Nathrakh, The Weeknd, Rotten Sound, Converge, Nails, Hybrid Minds, Nujabes, Flying Lotus, Pianos Become The Teeth, Between The Buried and Me, Run The Jewels, Deafheaven, J. Cole, and The Glitch Mob.

Movies: Some of my favorites are Half Baked, 40 Year Old Virgin, Pulp Fiction, and 12 Years a Slave. Overall though, I have not really been into movies as much as I'd like to be.

Books: Game of Thrones is probably my current favorite series, but I also very much enjoy books such as All Souls and The Things They Carried, and I am open to recommendations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if this can be considered amazing, but I was at a low point in life and just hated the way I looked and felt, and one day, something just snapped together in me and I began to push myself to run. It was very difficult to start at first, but after a while, I ran almost everyday and trained to run two half-marathons, which was an intense, but rewarding experience. Running not only helped me feel better about myself physically, but it made me happier and I began to have a more positive perspective with the world and life in general.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach people about my culture and love to learn the same! I'm also very open to talking about current events or any topics in general, and love sharing details about my life and my experiences with others while learning about them.

I'm also quite a sports fan, particularly baseball and football, so if you wanna talk about how the Patriots are one of GOATs of football, I'm always down for conversation!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge and life experiences, and I am more than happy to help with anything around the place with cleaning or organizing when I am in your home!
