About Me
Hello surfers and hosts. A little something about me. Born and raised in Oakland CA, I moved to Portland Oregon about 3 years ago for a fresh start. Right now I am focused on getting my general contractors license and have been working as a carpenter. When I'm not working I love staying busy with all sorts of projects and hobbies. I have 3 great roommates that share the same energy. More importantly though, I am a people person! I love connecting and talking about real stuff. I pride myself on my open mindedness and look for that in other people too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing because I want to meet more locals.. I love learning about new cultures and really immersing myself in them. You don't meet many locals in a hostel so I find it harder to really see cities and countries for what they are
6 years before that I did my first and only solo back packing trip through Europe. It was a hell of an experience and I miss the people.. I am very accepting of all respectful people
Interests
I love cycling, pretty much been on a bike my whole life, classic cars, the guitar, fitness, craft beers, PIZZA! Just to list a few.
Music, Movies, and Books
I honestly love all music.
Books: Ishmael, The Alchemist, Jurassic Park to name some more recent ones. I'm working on reading more.
Forrest Gump is my favorite movie as well as the entire Jason Bourne series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I believe I have done is bungee jumping in Thailand.
