Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Alaska. Have things set up well enough where I only have to work a few months every year or two. Turned 30 and needed a change in lifestyle so I sold or gave away most of what I owned and moved onto a sailboat. This winter I’m traveling by motorcycle chasing the warmer weather. Nomadic traveler, partly by choice, but I think a lot of it has to do with the fact most people aren’t able to leave with a one way ticket for an unknown amount of time. Non smoker, not religious or political, some might say that I’m a decent cook.

Music, Movies, and Books
Listen to all types of music. Never know what might pop up on my iPod. It could go from any generation of rock to classical music, right into rap then country in the span of 4 songs.
I've watched lots of movies. Dislike probably 90% of everything on tv, but have no problem binging an entire season of something that catches my eye.
I definitely prefer books. Always liked looking through someone else’s bookshelf, it can really tell you a lot about a person. You know you found a good read if you sacrifice sleep for another chapter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bought a sailboat, lived on it almost two years, survived an alaskan winter on the water and then sailed solo for 3 months from Alaska to Washington down the inside passage in the late fall/ early winter of the 2nd year
Teach, Learn, Share
I've given many people their first sailing experience. Happy to share whatever knowledge I’ve acquired over the years. I do enjoy cooking and hosting dinners. Always willing to share recipes. It’s always a treat to be able to use a real kitchen instead of the small galley on the boat or the single burner in the tent
