About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Smoked Salmon!

ABOUT ME

I'm at my best when I'm helping people. The three main components that fuel my vitality are generosity, honesty, and patience. I love simplifying. Simplifying possessions, Simplifying a concept, Simplifying directions......

I'm organized and prepared. If I write something down, it gets done. The bright side of a situation usually dominates my thoughts.

PHILOSOPHY

Whatever happens naturally is the only truth you'll ever see.

Interests

Backpacking through the mountains is my main passion at the moment. I've been all up and down the Appalachian Mountains and now I'm dying to get out west to the Rockies. I love making music, giving people the confidence to improvise, traveling, meeting new people, ping-pong, card games.....
Most of the traveling I've done has been as a hired musician (I'm a bass player). I recently moved from the NYC area, and went back to my hometown in Ohio to clear the city from my head and pursue a simpler life (garden, family, old friends, teaching, and No traffic!) I might move back to the city soon, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

By far, the most amazing thing I've seen is Machu Picchu in Peru. The Andes mountains are so jagged, angular, and unlike anything in States. The stone walls with no mortar, perfectly fitted together. The staircased mountainside. The whole place leaves you with a sense of wonder and mystery. I'd love to go back someday.

Touring with a band through Alaska is a favorite of mine. Alaska is beautiful, I've thought about moving there several times. The people are gracious, welcoming, and the whole trip was journal entry worthy.
