About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To share in some great experiences with other CS's, so we can show the world that friendship, camaraderie and love for culture has no boundaries.

ABOUT ME

I have been fortunate to come across so many exciting and inspirational people over the last 35 years. I believe that we can learn so much from others and their experiences can help shape our views of the world, making us a more connected world. This has led to many amazing adventures and opportunities I never thought I would have a chance to experience. I come from a learning background, and enjoy the chance to find out about people and places.

PHILOSOPHY

"Stop trying to impress others with the things that you own. Begin inspiring them by the way that you LIVE."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My wife has been participating in couch surfing for some time now. She introduced me to this amazing community and since then we have hosted over well over 100 CS. She is an International Wedding Planner and I have been in education for over 15 years. Her slight nudge into this community, has expanded my joy for hosting couch surfers, and sparked an interest to travel myself. Since then we have been to Alaska, Thailand, London, Wales, and each trip just further cements my belief in humanity.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Currently, my participation in couch surfing has been through the encouragement of my better half. She has traveled the world via CS and has shared so many of her experiences with me. Once we decided to cohabitate I had my first CS experience in no time. We hosted a great group of "friends" from Germany and I could not have asked for a better group for my first time. Since that experience I am proud to say we have hosted over 30 people since then. I am HOOKED!
