Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Found out that real travelling starts when you couchsurf, because by then you cease to bother about visiting all those temples, museums and mausoleums, the impressions of which only skim over your mind and scarcely leave a lasting mark, and start doing the one thing that awakens your sense of living in the moment: talking to your host for the first time and explaining to him/her what the hell you have put yourself through with your ragged clothing and beaten-up look.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Admiring the night sky with myriad of stars blanketing the snow-capped Himalayas glowing in dark blue during a piss break on my bus ride from Tibet to Nepal.
