About Me

I'm currently fresh out of school and working two jobs to save up for a college education. I love learning about other cultures. Currently working in Whatcom and Skagit County In Washington state. Learning and practicing Spanish as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to absorb as much as I can from the world as a whole. I'm not content with staying in one place all my life. My family also encourages me to see as much of the world as I can. Plus a night in a hotel isn't quite as an immersive traveling experience. One goaI have is to travel from the Pacific Northwest south through Mexico, and Central and South America and really immerse myself in the culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a huge variety of music minus the country genre. I like a lot of edm and it's sub genres, psych rock, alternative, rock, way more than I can list here

I read whenever I pickup a book that I can't set back down without finishing it, but I have several recommended books I have yet to crack open, I like a lot of fantasy, fiction, survival, post apocalyptic, etc

My favorite movies are:
The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Wolf of Wall Street, Enter The Void, Hot Fuzz, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Juno, and Mean Girls

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

backpacked through Philmont Scout Ranch in the New Mexican desert for a week during the summer and still is one of my favorite trips, best thing about it was I had everything I needed on my back and a beautiful landscape to look at all day.

Teach, Learn, Share

you can learn a lot from anyone despite many differences if you approach with an open mind and I swear I didn't steal that from a fortune cookie.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm so ready to help anyone with anything even if I have no idea what I'm doing. I like to think that it's the effort of making the best of a situation that can really make a difference. Also I want to share with the world that a banana is infinitely easier to peel if you pinch and peel from the bottom upwards.
