Hey! I’m Jaspar. I’ve just finished school and decided to travel a bit before starting the next chapter. The classical gap year. Right now on my big trip since more than four months.

I love nature and staying out. Also immersing myself into random experiences. You can see in my face that I laugh a lot that’s why I enjoy good conversations — about deep topics or just random things that come up. I’d say I’m easygoing, curious, and respectful. I don’t need much, just a place to sleep and maybe a chat over a cup of tea or coffee.

On the one hand I’ve just finished school and now I am ready to explore the world. On the other one I’d like to meet new people that are coming to my town :D

On my travels I really look for things (not material) that I can implement into my life. Also I have to figure out the places I like, since I haven’t seen a lot of the word.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because hotels are boring and people are much more interesting. I like discovering places through the people who actually live there — what they do, what they love, and how they see their world. I remember this a lot more than the place I have been.

So I’m not trying to rush through every tourist spot; I prefer to take my time, meet people, and enjoy the small, real parts of traveling.
