I work full-time in healthcare as a clinical manager and also see several clients in private practice. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety and addictions. I have specialized experience in working with clients on issues of intimacy, sex and sexuality from a sex positive framework.

When I'm not working I enjoy hanging out with friends and family. I love to cook, entertain and host dinners and game nights throughout the year. I'm also a bit of a foodie.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having grown up as a military brat, I LOVE traveling, meeting new people and enjoying other cultures. I spent all of my junior high and high school years in Germany (3 in Frankfurt and 3 in Berlin). I've been fortunate to travel a good deal internationally and am doing more traveling in the US now. I hope to do a lot more of both!

As a social worker I am fascinated and excited by meeting new people and learning about their lives on both social and deeper levels. I am also emotionally available and open to sharing about myself as well. Developing meaningful connections is great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to NYC and spent 5 years recording and performing music there. I recorded two albums of jazz, blues, pop and theatre music from various genres. I once sang with Patti Labelle and at 18 sang for President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan. (Don't hold that against me!) I'm a singer and songwriter who has been singing since I was 11.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First and foremost I'm courteous, neat, clean and respectful. I have a fun sense of humor. I am happy to cook a meal if that's of interest.
